These orange Dahlias amongst their green background are colour popping and wonderful, it's the initial attraction and my first inspiration but the true beauty is in the shadows, a myriad of amazing colours that makes you never tire of this painting.
I have it hanging on the studio wall and I find something new all the time, even though I painted it!
