Refund policy
I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return and change your mind.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact me at debs@debbiechatfield.co.uk. If your return is accepted, I'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Commissions
On accepting a commission I will require a 50% deposit and a contract will be agreed between parties. On completion of the commission, following the review and approval process the balance is required prior to shipping. However, I will still honour the 30 day period to change your mind but the deposit is non-refundable due to materials and time involved with a commissioned piece of art.
Workshops
If you have booked but can not make it please get in touch on debs@debbiechatfield.co.uk or the phone number you received on booking. Refunds or exchanges are given for workshops up until 7 days before.
Last minute? I know life happens people get ill or circumstances change sometimes at the last minute depending on circumstances I normally give a credit note for a future workshop but in exceptional circumstances refunds can be organised.
Painting Holidays
When booking a holiday with me I require 25% deposit to secure your place. Painting holidays are fully refundable up until 6 weeks before, they are also subject to cancellation if I don't receive the required numbers.
The balance will be required 6 weeks before travel. Please ensure you have holiday insurance to cover cancellation through ill health or other last minute reasons.
RefundsWe will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
