How it All Began...

I have been teaching in person for many years now. From village halls, my home studio and other venues.

Having run countless Workshops, Painting Holidays and Classes I realised I wanted more.

In classes my teaching style had changed in line with my art and I wanted to reach people on an authentic level.

I had been on an art business course (it's where I met Ruth) which meant I had met a lot of other artists and I wanted what many of them had a really deep understanding and connection with their art.

The realisation led me to my more abstract work, I no longer wanted to portray a moment in time, I now wanted to portray how my connection to the world and nature 'felt' so I could pass that feeling onto others.

Ruth and I had kept in touch, we wanted to reach more people like ourselves and the Art Alchemy Podcast and Art Hub was born... we both love to chat and explore the deeper of our art, meaning the authentic connection we have with it. We want that for ourselves.

The Artist Roadmap is about sharing that ability to connect with our art with others.

We both decided that the only way to do this was to individually provide a roadmap as every person is unique. We decided it would need a coaching element and we would help people build a body of artwork.

This means that the programme is over a year, it gives you the time to produce art and work through your interests and blocks with our support.

We now want you to have that authentic connection too.

FAQs

Who is Artist's Roadmap for?

Visual artists (predominately painters) who are looking to find their authentic voice, develop their art, connect with other artists and stretch themselves.

I'm very busy. How much time does this take up?

We recommend you spend 4 hours a week at minimum to get benefit from the program.

Throughout the month we drip feed content, to pace you accordingly.

All content is also recorded to watch back at your own pace.

If you have more time you can really deep dive into the monthly themes. Remember you get what you put in.

Where is Artist's Roadmap

The Artist's Roadmap is an online community (Art Hub) and 1-2-1 mentoring, which is accessed through an app called Heart Beat. This is not on social media, so will be a personal private space for artists. You will access it through a phone, tablet or laptop.

How much is the Artist's Roadmap

You can chose to pay for one year upfront for £970, saving £194.

Or pay monthly at £97.

I don't usually spend this much money on myself. Am I being selfish?

This is a common thought especially from those who always put themselves last on the list of priorities.

But by prioritising what makes us happy (our art) you will have more energy and time for others, as you'll become a more joyful version of yourself.

What experience do I need to take part?

The Artist's Roadmap is for artists who have foundation skills and knowledge but want to take their art to the next level.

If you're a beginner but have the ambition and confidence to try new things you're also welcome.

You will have 1-2-1 mentoring to guide and champion your progress.

What if I can't make the live workshops?

All our workshops are recorded to watch back at your own leisure.

What materials and equipment will I need?

You will need a sketchbook, basic drawing and painting materials to take part in all the activities.

For the live workshops we release the equipment list in advance for you to prepare.

Not ready just yet?

You can join us in Art Hub, which is the online art membership open all year round, without the mentoring for just £20 per month: Find out more
