'Misty Morning' is from the collection 'Spring Awakes', a series of paintings exploring when the dark, dreary days of winter fade, and the first warmth of sunlight touches the trees and glistens on the water, you know change is coming.
Misty Morning captures that feeling when the mist is still over the water and it feels fresh when the day is about to start, it is encompassing the feeling for the collection but for a day rather than a season.
It pairs well with others in the collection and was inspired by many of the smaller pieces and 'River's Breath' (see pic).
Artwork is 39" x 39" on a deep canvas with painted white edges.
