'Amongst the Undergrowth' is from the collection 'Trees of Dreams', a small size series of paintings exploring my love of trees and the organic forms they inspire.
Amongst the Undergrowth was inspired by an early Spring Walk at Loynton Moss in Staffordshire, UK. There were still the faded reds and oranges in the fallen leaves still to fully decay on the woodland floor and bright red toadstools amongst them whilst on the trees were the incredible shapes of fungi on the still visible, beautiful bark.
It pairs well with 'Amongst the Fungi' as can be seen in the pic.
Artwork is 9" x 12" Mixed Media on Wood Panel.
The piece is signed front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
