I pass this old tree in the lanes regularly, hadn't thought much about it until it was this fields turn for the Rapeseed I couldn't resist painting it. 💛

Have you ever noticed how Nature Frames itself? Trees often do this. Here it looks like she's guarding the field by putting her arms around it like mother's do, hence the matriarch.

Care Instructions

Your print will arrive carefully rolled in a tube for shipping. It is advisable to lay the print out for a few hours prior to framing to enable it to naturally flatten.

Framing under glass helps to protect prints on paper from dust and fading through sunlight, so this is the recommended way of displaying them.

Please note that monitor colours differ so there may be a slight variation in colour from your screen.

My inspiration behind Nature Framed and Reflections

I always look for the windows that occur when I'm out and about, sometimes it's nature itself that frames.. An oak overseeing a Rapeseed field, an Avenue formed over a lane or tree leaves framing a scene beyond.

Sometimes it is our landscaping that frames and then nature curls it's way back in and frames again, the Laburnum on an arch frames the bandstand from a distance.

Reflections can be seen both in water naturally or man-made mirrors or reflective surfaces.

It's all about seeing things from a different viewpoint.

And capturing the moment as nature with her seasons is always transient... I love that the more you see, the more you see!
