I will be running a series of workshops in 2018 using lots of different media and techniques, here is the list…

Introducing Pouring Medium

How to do an abstract painting using pouring medium. This will be a one day workshop where you will both pour and swipe acrylic paint. Learn some of the tricks on how to create cells. You don’t need any prior experience for this workshop so come and join us.

Snowdrops in Alcohol Inks

Alcohol Inks… This is an unusual medium like no other. After covering the basics you will paint a snowdrop on yupo paper in this step by step workshop using both alcohol inks and promarkers.

A Brusho Landscape

Brusho works like powdered watercolour but has a vibrancy that surpasses due to it’s ink like pigments… In this workshop you will learn how to control Brusho and use many watercolour techniques to do a landscape using Brusho.

Alcohol Inks – Landscape on a Tile with Frame

In this workshop we will be creating a finished piece of art by using alcohol inks on a tile and then mounting it within a boxed frame to produce a complete piece of artwork. Although this will be a step by step workshop everyone will be encouraged to produce their own individual artwork.

Portrait

Imogen and Andy – 20″ x 16″ – a portrait for their wedding day.

I have had a request for a portrait workshop. Here is an example of a portrait I have done recently – it will not be this one we do but in this painting you will be using acrylic paint in a similar way to produce a portrait, I will start the day by demonstrating how I go about the colour mixing of skin tones before doing the step by step painting.

Pouring Medium – A larger pour!

Painting with Encaustic Wax

Encaustic Wax is an interesting medium; learn how to create landscapes with an iron and wax.  This workshop will be an introduction to this medium we will learn how to paint with the iron to produce landscapes and may even try it out on a canvas.

If you wish to book onto a workshop or have a request for a different workshop please contact me and I will send you out a booking form.  I will need a 20% deposit to secure your booking or for the Workshops I will accept a post dated cheque.
